AzerGold CJSC’s Employees Honored the Memory of Martyr Mukhtar Gasimli

On the 3rd anniversary of the martyrdom of Mukhtar Gasimli, who died in the Patriotic War, AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company’s (CJSC) employees visited his grave. AzerGold CJSC’s management and staff, who visited the grave, expressed their infinite respect for the dear memory of Mukhtar Gasimli martyrs and put wreaths and flowers in front of his grave.

It should be recalled that Mukhtar Gasimli, who worked for AzerGold CJSC’s Security Service, joined the army as a reserve officer of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces during the Patriotic War, which began on September 27, 2020, and participated in the battles for the liberation of the Fuzuli region. He fought heroically and was killed in Alkhanli village of Fuzuli region on October 2, 2020.

By the appropriate orders of Mr. President Ilham Aliyev, Senior Lieutenant Mukhtar Gasimli was posthumously awarded the medals ‘For the Motherland’ and ‘For the Liberation of Fuzuli’ for his courage and bravery demonstrated during the liberation of Azerbaijani territories from occupation.

It should be noted that along with Mukhtar Gasimli, another employee of AzerGold CJSC, Rauf Asgarov, also fought heroically in the battles for the liberation of the Fuzuli region and was killed during the Patriotic War.
