High demand for coin and ingot collections of AzerGold CJSC

The retail market of precious metals from January to September of 2024 has been profitable for AzerGold CJSC.

During the first nine months of 2024, 2 582 ounces of gold coins and ingots were sold out in the official sales and exchange centre of the Company, which meant a 35 percent increase in gold sale compared to the same period of 2023. During this period, 70 ounces of silver products were retailed.

The retail of gold and silver products brought an income of 11.4 million manats from January to September of 2024, which equals a 59 percent increase compared to the same period of 2023.

AzerGold CJSC introduced its coins and ingots produced from local gold and silver raw materials for sale for the first time in 2019. And 44.2 million manats of revenue was achieved from the retail of 11 677 ounces of gold coins and ingots, and 595 ounces of silver coins.

Note that 11 types of coin collections depicting modernity, history and art, and ancient traditions of Azerbaijan have been produced by AzerGold. In 2024, new gold coin collections dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and depicting the image of the oldest part of the capital Baku – Icehirsheher (the Old City) were presented.
