AzerGold representatives meets residents at Tulallar village

AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) continues its activity towards development and expansion of existing production facilities, as well as the creation of new mines. Thus, the Company is conducting works in the field of geological exploration near Tulallar village of Goygol region. The ores to be produced at Tulallar mine, which is planned to be commissioned this year, will also be processed at Chovdar Ore Processing Area in Dashkasan, using a high-efficiency carbon-in-leach method at the ore processing plant which is currently under construction.

It is worth noting that the facility which will be commissioned late 2022 - early 2023, will process the ores to be extracted from "Tulallar", along with its vicinity, as well as those from the sulfide phase of the "Chovdar" field, "Marah", "Agyokhush 2", Narimanli potential gold deposit which was discovered as a result of exploration work carried out by geologists of our Company.

In point of fact, the Working Group consisting of the representatives of AzerGold CJSC, Goygol Executive Power, Real Estate Cadastre and Address Registry Service under the State Committee on Property Issues, Ganja Territorial Department No. 3 and the Zurnabad Municipality have taken necessary actions to acquire the use of private, state and municipal lands in Tulallar geological exploration area and surrounding areas.

Thus, another meeting was held with the residents of Tulallar village to obtain the right to use land on private property.

Khayyam Farzaliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of AzerGold CJSC, informed the residents about the conclusion of the appraiser involved by the Company who made the assessment of land and other property. He emphasized that, the process will be settled giving specific consideration to the citizens’ interests in accordance with the requirements of the legislation.

Kh.Farzaliyev informed the participants that the launch of the Tulallar mine will increase the employment of the population, especially youth, and will make a great contribution to the economic development of the region and the level of welfare in general. The villagers voiced their proposals, and the participants exchanged views on new initiatives.

According to the preliminary plan, it is planned to obtain the right to use the area of individual houses and semi-detached houses within the scope of the exploration area, and then in the next phase to change the existing land categories to industrial, transport, communications, defense and other. The management of the Company, as well as the representatives of the Working Group, regularly meet the villagers and organize individual meetings. Upon completion of above-mentioned assessment works, the residents will receive detailed information on the next steps.
