AzerGold delivers social assistance in Dashkasan and Goygol

AzerGold Closed Joint Stock Company carried out another social assistance campaign in the regions where the Company is operating. Within the initiatives formulated under Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, more than 250 low-income families from Tulallar village of Goygal and Gushchu, Shadakh, Bayan villages of Dashkasan received holiday gifts with foodstuff consumed on daily basis. The campaign aimed to support the social needs of low-income families on the occasion of the holy Ramadan holiday and to create a festive mood on such significant days.

Notably, AzerGold CJSC, the leading mining company of the country, not only contributes to the economic development of the regions, but also implements various social programs and charity actions towards improving the welfare of local residents. The people living adjacent to Chovdar Integrated Regional Processing Area benefit from the projects which are regularly carried out with the aim to promote education, health, employment and enterpreneurship. Such actions which are organized in accordance with Social Impact and Responsibility Policy serve not only to support government programs, but also to provide care and improve the well-being of people, especially socially vulnerable families living in the region.
