“Treasure” Museum Exposition was visited by jewelers and standardization experts

On May 30, on the initiative of Icherisheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve and AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company an excursion was organized to the “Treasure” Museum Exposition at the Shirvanshahs Palace Complex.

The excursion, which aimed at promoting the national jewelry art and numismatic samples, was attended by the members of Azerbaijan Jewelers Association, Technical Committee for Standardization of Precious Metals and Precious Stones, Azerbaijan Standardization Institute Public Legal Entity, as well as European, Asian, African and South American officials of standardization organizations.

The visitors were informed about the ancient jewelry samples and coins, included in the collection of the Icherisheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve Foundation, as well as modern local high-grade silver and gold coins of different weighs, which depict the national and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan, Icherisheher gold coin and other coin collections. 

The local and foreign visitors of the museum expressed their fascination by the exquisite Azerbaijani jewelry samples, dating back to ancient times, as well as the elegant patterns on the gold and silver coins, produced by AzerGold CJSC, which witness its loyalty to national traditions.

Note that, “Treasure” museum exposition was organized on the initiative of Icherisheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve and support by AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company on May 21, 2024, at the Shirvanshahs Palace Complex. The main goal of the museum exposition is the preservation and promotion of the ancient jewelry traditions and numismatic heritage of Azerbaijan.
