AzerGold delegation visits Ganja State Vocational Education Center

The delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) Khayyam Farzaliyev visited Ganja State Vocational Training Center for Industry and Technology.

Jeyhun Karamov, Deputy Director of the State Agency for Vocational Education gave detailed information about the conditions created at the educational institution, which is in the balance of the Agency. The visitors got acquainted with the material and technical base of the Center, as well as inspected the laboratories and workshops of the institution. Various issues related to technical professions offered at the institution were discussed at the meeting which was held in accordance with the Action Plan on Cooperation between AzerGold CJSC and the State Agency for Vocational Education under the Ministry of Education for 2020-2021. Besides, the parties reached an agreement to organize study tours for those studying at the Vocational Education Center to the Company’s production facilities.

Then the representatives from the State Agency visited Chovdar Ore Processing Site of the Company in the Dashkesan region.

The guests had a look at the production process and working conditions at the mine, watched a video presentation covering all stages of production. The attendees were demonstrated the production of metal castings and alloys in the processing area. The guests were informed in detail about the export of precious metals and the company's contribution to the country's economy.

Remarkably, AzerGold CJSC and State Agency for Vocational Education signed a memorandum on Action Plan in May last year on joint activities towards vocational training of specialists in the mining industry.
