“AzerGold” CJSC’s employees donate blood for thalassemia patients

The employees of “AzerGold” Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) have donated blood for the people suffering from thalassemia. A campaign has been conducted at the head office of the Company to support the project entitled “For Life without Thalassemia”.

The abovementioned project which was launched by the first vice-president, president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2017. It has been ten years that, within the scope of this program, hundreds of people donate blood, help those who suffer from hereditary anemia and prolong their life. Tens of agencies, organizations, companies etc. subscribe the ideas of corporate donor program propagated by Azerbaijan Thalassemia Federation and organize mass campaigns every year.

“AzerGold” CJSC has also taken the initiative in corporate donor program and joined the  “For Life without Thalassemia” project. Volunteers of the Company have donated blood at the headquarters of the Company and supported the increase of blood supply for the people suffering from hemopathy.

“AzerGold” CJSC was founded according to the decree of the President Ilham Aliyev on February 11, 2015. The activity of the Company is distinguished by the development of   non-oil sector in Azerbaijan and its main objective is the study, research, exploration, management, production, processing and sales of precious and non-ferrous metal ore deposits, implementation of new technologies in this industry, modernization and efficient use of material and technical base, as well as performance of other activities related to the development of the field.
