AzerGold holds meeting with war veterans and martyrs’ family members

AzerGold CJSC held an online meeting with the veterans and martyrs’ family members who were employed by the Company. Khayyam Farzaliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, spoke about the historical and political significance of the glorious victory achieved under the direct leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev. It was noted that the brave sons of Azerbaijan, our martyrs and veterans have an invaluable share in this victory. Their heroism causes great admiration not only in our country, but also abroad.

Khayyam Farzaliyev named the heroic employees of AzerGold Mukhtar Gasimli and Rauf Asgarov, who were among those martyred for the Motherland. Six more employees of the Company took an active part in the battles and were distinguished for their exemplary service.

Then the meeting focused on the actions taken towards providing necessary public support to participants of Patriotic War and the families of martyrs. The Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board noted that the Company made donations to “YASHAT” Foundation, which was established to support the families of the war-wounded and martyrs who fought for the country’s territorial integrity.

Khayyam Farzaliyev reminded that over the past two months up to 20 veterans and family members of martyrs have been provided with permanent jobs by AzerGold CJSC.

During the meeting, the veterans and members of the martyrs’ families made speeches and thanked the Company for its trust and support.
