AzerGold announces production internship for teachers of Ganja and Dashkasan vocational schools

Within the framework of joint cooperation of AzerGold CJSC and State Agency for Vocational Education, a production internship for the teachers of vocational schools related to the industry. The internship program was held in the format of on-the-job training at AzerGold’s Chovdar Integrated Regional Processing Area in Dashkasan. The specialists who prepare students for careers of locksmith-plumbers, mining specialists and electric gas welders at Ganja State Vocational Education Center for Industry and Technology and Dashkasan Vocational School joined the internship program.

The internship program is implemented within the initiative of "Professional development and training for employees working with Employers". The project aims to organize on-the-job training, internship mechanisms based on international experience and professional development of engineering and pedagogical staff working in the field of vocational education at employing entities.

Notably, AzerGold CJSC and the State Agency for Vocational Education signed a Memorandum of Understanding on May 19, 2020 on joint activities to train qualified and skilled personnel in the mining sector.
