Zakir Ibrahimov Has Met with the 3rd Yukselish Competition Winner

Chairman of the Board of AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) Zakir Ibrahimov held a regular meeting with one of the winners of the Mentorship Program Project implemented as part of the 3rd Yukselish (Ascent) competition, Vugar Mammadov.

At the meeting, AzerGold CJSC’s development strategy until 2035, aimed at contributing to the sustainable development of our country's mining industry, was discussed with the competition winner. The Chairman of the Board informed the winner of the strategy formulation and the methods and rules of management, and provided practical recommendations for the implementation of investment projects.

Z. Ibrahimov also set a task to the competition winner to analyze gold prices in the world market and the market price dynamics and trends according to his one-year personal development plan. Then, an extensive exchange of views on mutually interesting topics took place.

It should be noted that the Yukselish competition was launched by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, dated July 26, 2019. The competition covers citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan aged 21-51, with a higher education and two years of management experience. The competition comprises 5 stages – registration, online selection, interview, semi-final, and final. The competition winners receive a one-year personal development plan and a self-development grant of AZN 20,000 each from the management mentors (https://yukselish.az/mentors.html). It should be noted that on December 25, 2023, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan signed a Decree on holding the 4th Yukselis competition.
