New gold coin collection of AzerGold CJSC is dedicated to Icherisheher

AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company presented a new collection of gold coins dedicated to Icherisheher, which has a special place among the cultural pearls with its rich cultural monuments, dating back to the Ancient Period and Middle Ages.
The collection is made of high-grade local gold and comes in 5-, 10- and 20-gramme weights. The coin samples reflect the historical and cultural monuments of Icherisheher, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The coin collection, depicting the Shirvanshahs Palace, Maiden Tower, Shah Mosque, Double Gates of Baku, as well as other monuments that are included in the Icherisheher architecture, symbolizes the history of the capital Baku.
