From a precious metal producer to a multi-line mining company AzerGold is moving forward with confident steps

Based on progressive international experience AzerGold CJSC has turned from a precious metal producer into a multi-line mining company. Launched with only gold deposit – Chovdar, eight years ago, AzerGold CJSC has become a company with multiple branches today.

From 2020, operations related to ferrous, as well as non-ferrous deposits were entrusted to the Company according to the relevant Decrees by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr Ilham Aliyev. From 2021, the production of explosive substances of industrial importance was started for the first time in our country, based on the public-private sector partnership model.

The Company was authorized to represent the Republic of Azerbaijan in the international production sharing contracts and empowered to implement the general geological exploration programme through the country together with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, which shows the growing trust of Azerbaijan.
