One more environmental campaign around the Chovdar gold mine

“AzerGold” CJSC organized one more environmental campaign in Dashkasan region to promote the protection biodiversity.

During the campaign, the employees of the Company provided eco-friendly bird feeders in the forest area around the Chovdar gold mine to help bird species in finding food during the snowy winter months, and to contribute to the protection of birds and the development of the ecosystem in the forest.

It should be noted that AzerGold CJSC, as a state-owned company successfully representing the mining industry of Azerbaijan, also takes environmental protection initiatives. AzerGold not only operates in accordance with local and international environmental standards, but also realizes consistent and systematic educational projects in the region where it operates. The Company plans to continue such projects this year, organize tree planting, greening and cleaning campaigns in the production areas.
