BHOS Students Represented Our Country at an International Conference With the Support of AzerGold CJSC

With the support of AzerGold CJSC, a first-year master's student majoring in Oil and Gas Technologies at Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS), Almaz Heydarova, and a graduate majoring in Chemical Engineering, Gunel Rahimli, represented our country at the ICOSSE'25 (International Congress on Sustainability Science & Engineering) international conference held in Auckland, New Zealand.

At the conference, topics such as ‘Innovative Waste Management and Recycling Technologies,’ ‘Sustainable Approaches to Resource Recovery,’ ‘Integration of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence into Industrial Processes,’ and ‘Closed-Loop Economy Strategies in Various Industries’ were discussed.

The students made a presentation on the topic ‘Efficient Extraction of Gold from Waste Printed Circuit Boards’ and gained the opportunity to exchange experience with international experts and participate in discussions of innovative solutions. The conference attendees met the presentation by Azerbaijani students with great interest.
