AzerGold staff commemorates dear memory of Mukhtar Gasimli

On the occasion of second anniversary of the death of Mukhtar Gasimli, an employee of "AzerGold" Closed Joint Stock Company (CJSC), who died in the Patriotic War for the territorial integrity of our country, the Company’s staff visited his grave. The visitors expressed their infinite respect to the dear memory of Mukhtar Gasimli, laid a wreath and flowers in front of his grave.

Notably, Mukhtar Gasimli, who worked for "AzerGold" JSC and was as a reserve officer of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces, enlisted in the army during the Patriotic War and participated in the battles for Fuzuli. On October 2, 2020, he fought heroically in Alkhanli village of Fuzuli district where he rose to the peak of martyrdom.

Upon the relevant orders of Mr. President Ilham Aliyev, Senior lieutenant Mukhtar Gasimli, was awarded the medals of "For the Motherland" and "For the Liberation of Fuzuli" after his death for his courage and bravery during combat tasks conducted for the liberation of Azerbaijani territories from occupation.

It is worth noting that, along with Mukhtar Gasimli, another employee of "AzerGold" CJSC - Rauf Asgarov, joined the Patriotic War, fought heroically and was martyred in the battles for Fuzuli as well.
