AzerGold meets with CASPISNET

AzerGold Closed Joint Stock Company had a meeting with the representatives of Caspian Integrated Scientific Network (CASPISNET).
The members of the international network - co-chairman of CASPISNET and professor of the University of Geneva Alexander Babak Hejazi, teachers and professors from ADA University, University of Toulouse, French National Space Research Center and School of Mining and Earth Sciences of Nazarbayev University, and the experts of mining, geology, health, labor safety and environment, as well as strategic planning, public relations and marketing of "AzerGold" CJSC took part in the annual meeting of CASPISNET held at ADA University on June 5-8.
Thus, the attendees obtained detailed information on the main goals of CASPISNET. It was pointed out that the scientific research network is a scientific platform launched with the aim of exchanging best practices and sustainable development strategies in order to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The International Network established a goal to build up a regional bridge by preparing the "CASPISNET-2030" Agenda for the assessment of the environment, climate changes, ecology, anthropogenic threats and other risks based on the science-industry partnership model.
The meeting held for the purpose of acquaintance and evaluation of potential cooperation opportunities served for effective exchange of ideas on modern technology, application of innovative solutions, use of alternative energy sources, assessment of sustainable development, accountability and other issues in the organization of activities in the field of mining. Besides, the members of the international network were also enlightened about the experience of AzerGold CJSC regarding health, labor safety, and environmental protection, as well as the accomplishments made in this field.
