“AzerGold” CJSC carries out its second large export of gold and silver

“AzerGold” Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) has dispatched 72 pieces of auri-argentiferous bullions produced in Chovdar Ore Processing Area to the worldwide renowned Swiss company “Argor-Heraeus SA” for the purpose of their refinement and sales. Being sold in the international stock market, refıned gold and silver have brought in millions to the state-owned company.

Total weight of exported bullions is 1283 kilograms, 16.3 thousand ounces of which consist of gold, 22.2 thounsand ounces – of silver. 20 million 905 thousand US dollars (35.6 million manats) revenue has been generated from the sales of precious metal in the quantity mentioned above.

“AzerGold” CJSC carried out its first export of gold and silver in May with 66 pieces of bullions. The Company has earned the revenue valued at 20 million 118 thousand US dollars (34 million 200 thounsand manats) from the primary consignment by selling 16 thousand ounces of gold and 24 thousand ounces of silver.

It is planned to increase the quantity of gold and silver bullions to be produced in Chovdar Ore Processign Area located in Dashkasan district up to 160 thousand ounces (70 thousand ounces of gold, 90 thousand ounces of silver) by the end of 2017, which makes 85 million US dollars (approximately 145 million manats) considering the current prices of precious metals.
