AzerGold CJSC to Permanently Employ 285 War Participants and Martyr Family Members

Along with the non-oil sector development, AzerGold Closed Joint Stock Company (CJSC), successfully operating in the mining sector of our country, continues to contribute to the state policy in the fields of the socioeconomic progress of the regions and the improvement of employment. Thus, CJSC, actively performing mining in the Dashkasan and Goygol regions, as well as production activity in the Dashkasan region, with 664 employees according to the staff schedule approved in 2023, created working conditions meeting latest standards for a total of 1,856 workers jointly with contractor companies engaged in mining. In 2023, a total of 288 people were permanently employed in the CJSC’s subsidiaries - Dashkasan Iron Ore LLC and AzerBlast LLC.

In connection with implementing mining projects in 2023, both AzerGold CJSC and its subsidiaries continue to open new jobs and increase the staff of permanent employees. According to the new staff schedules approved this year, it is planned to increase the number of employees to 1041, including 750 in AzerGold CJSC and 291 in subsidiaries.

One of the important recruitment issues is the employment of our veterans who participated in military operations for the territorial integrity and independence of our country, as well as martyr family members. Currently, 78 war participants and 12 martyr family members are working for the CJSC. This year, special attention is paid to the employment of citizens from this category according to the appropriate qualifications and professional skills. The total number of war participants and martyr family members employed in the Joint Stock Company’s subsidiaries - Dashkasan Iron Ore LLC (DDF LLC) and AzerBlast LLC is 43.

CJSC's Chovdar Integrated Regional Processing Area, as well as long-term contractors operating in gold and iron ore mines and engaged in construction and installation, also pay attention to the employment of the aforementioned vulnerable category of citizens. Currently, a total of 152 employees of contractors involved in the activity of AzerGold CJSC and its subsidiaries belong to the said sensitive category.

It should be noted that as a result of AzerGold CJSC’s activity, which is among the most demanding companies in the labor market of our country, a total of 285 war participants and martyr family members have been permanently employed.
