AzerGold CJSC received the citizens in Dashkasan

The Corporate Social Responsibility Committee members of AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company met with the residents of remote Chovdar and Gushchu villages and other settlements of Dashkasan region.

Khayyam Farzaliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of AzerGold CJSC, Chairman of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, participated in the meeting at the Chovdar Integrated Regional Processing Area. Mr Farzaliyev gave a speech about the works in Ganja-Dashkasan economic region, especially on improving the socio-economic state of the residents inhabiting the vicinities of the mines, and on environmental protection.

It was noted that AzerGold CJSC contributes to the social policy of Azerbaijan by focusing on the goals of sustainable development in the areas of responsibility. The Company implements consistent and systematic projects for the improvement of local residents’ employment, education, health, inclusive development, sports, culture and other activities within the Company’s operational region. These goals will be continued during the current year. Furthermore, the demands of the residents were considered, new initiatives and existing problems were discussed during the meeting.

The Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of AzerGold CJSC will continue to organize such meetings with the residents of the region to analyze their social needs.
