AzerGold CJSC Increased Production Volumes

AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) successfully continued its production and sales in January-March 2024.

For this period, the CJSC produced 11.5 thousand Oz of gold and 25.5 thousand Oz of silver. Thus, the gold and silver production plans for the first three months of the current year were exceeded by, respectively, 2% and 1%. Compared to the same period last year, gold and silver production increased by, respectively, 58% and 25%.

Also, for the first quarter of the current year, the Joint-Stock Company sold 6.6 thousand Oz of gold and 23.7 thousand Oz of silver in domestic and international markets and thereby brought AZN 25.2 million to the country's economy.

As of April 1, 2024, the total revenue from the sale of precious metals in domestic and foreign markets by the CJSC amounted to AZN 1 billion 213 million 911 thousand. Of these funds, export revenues constituted AZN 1 billion 158 million 829 thousand while those from domestic sales amounted to AZN 55 million 82 thousand.

It is worth noting that AzerGold CJSC has planned to produce and sell 70 thousand Oz of gold for the current year. This is a 10% increase in production and a 3% increase in sales compared to the previous year's figures.
