AzerGold CJSC Has Held a Meeting with the 2nd Yukselish Competition Winner Nargiz Balakishiyeva

Chairman of the Board of AzerGold Closed Joint Stock Company (CJSC) Zakir Ibrahimov received one of the of the 2nd Yukselish (Ascent) competition winners, Nargiz Balakishiyeva.

The Chairman of the JSC’s Board noted the importance of the Yukselish competition in terms of identifying and supporting promising executives with high intellectual level and management skills and forming a human resource bank in the country.

Z. Ibrahimov informed the competition winner of AzerGold CJSC’s activity and his personal experience in management, and said that those who claim to be managers should continuously improve themselves and develop their knowledge and skills. It was noted that business acumen, responsibility, willingness and ability to take risks, professional communication culture, efficient distribution of working time, proper assessment of people, efficient use of labor resources, and rationality are important qualities of a qualified and successful manager. Z. Ibrahimov advised the project winner to take full advantage of the ongoing Mentoring Program of the 2nd Yukselish competition to acquire all these qualities and further develop herself.

Z. Ibrahimov reminded that the winner of the 1st Yukselish competition in 2021, Nazim Novruzov, and the winner of the 2nd Yukselish competition in 2022, Ali Ahmadov started implementing a 1-year personal development plan as part of the Mentorship Program and noted quite productive cooperation that was established with the competition winners in career planning, effective management, ethical principles, professional standards, and crisis management. It was also noted that according to the policy of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev in the field of promoting youth talented in management, one of the competition winners, Ali Ahmadov was appointed advisor at AzerGold CJSC, and Ilyas Ismayilli was appointed the Deputy Head of the Strategic Planning and Project Management Department.

It should be noted that the Yukselish competition was launched by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, dated July 26, 2019.
