AzerGold CJSC delegation was on a business trip in Türkiye

A delegation of AzerGold CJSC has gone to Ankara, the capital of the Republic of Türkiye, on a business trip.

The visit was aimed at strengthening relations between the two countries in the field of mining, exchanging experience in the fields of geological exploration, production, processing of precious metals, and laboratory research.

During the business trip, the representatives of AzerGold CJSC visited the General Directorate of Mineral Research and Exploration (MTA – Maden Teknik Arama Genel Müdürlüğü) of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Türkiye. The parties had fruitful discussions on strengthening existing relations, studying innovations and new technologies, and managing joint projects. The existing Agreement between the two countries on cooperation in the field of mining, signed within the 1st Azerbaijan-Turkey Energy Forum held in Baku in 2022, was mentioned at the discussions. In addition, within the Forum, a quadrilateral Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the State Agency for the Use of Mineral Resources of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan, AzerGold CJSC, MTA Headquarters and MTA International Mining Company on collaboration. In this regard, mutual visits are being organized to resolve the issues arising from these documents and further develop the relations.

Later, the delegation visited the testing laboratory of the world-famous Bureau Veritas in Ankara and got acquainted with the activities of the enterprise, applied technologies and used facilities, and exchanged views on evaluating laboratory analyses and studying advanced technologies in this field.

In addition, the representatives of AzerGold visited the workshop of Mine & Process Engineering Solutions Company in Ankara, which provides engineering solutions, training, software and equipment services in the mining sector. The parties discussed collaboration opportunities and talked about advanced technologies applied in Türkiye, especially in the field of non-ferrous metal processing.

AzerGold CJSC, which represents the mining industry of Azerbaijan on the international arena, takes the initiatives of applying effective models, obtaining information on modern technologies, management structures, innovative solutions applied in countries experienced in this field are aimed at maximizing productivity and developing business relations.
