AzerGold CJSC and Regional Development Public Union Held an Environmental Campaign

AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) and Regional Development Public Union (RDPU) have jointly held the next tree-planting campaign near the Chovdar gold mine.

Employees of AzerGold CJSC, RDPU representatives, and volunteers took part in the campaign arranged as part of the Green World Solidarity Year with the slogan Care for Nature is Our Mission to expand the green areas in the region and contribute to the protection of ecological balance.

The campaign involved planting 1,000 linden trees suitable for local conditions in a 1 ha area and agrotechnical maintenance. Also, as part of the event, appropriate landscaping was performed in the area.

It should be noted that AzerGold CJSC, which successfully acting in the field of developing the mining industry, which is one of the important areas of the non-oil and gas sector in our country, consistently and systematically contributes to environmental protection. To date, the CJSC has planted more than 16 thousand trees and shrubs in the Dashkasan region in cooperation with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Regional Development Public Union, IDEA Public Union, and other governmental and non-governmental organizations. Numerous projects were also implemented, and cleaning campaigns performed on the banks of lakes and rivers to protect rare and endangered plant species and preserve biodiversity.
