AzerGold and State Agency for Vocational Education announce another Scholarship program

In accordance with the Action Plan approved between the State Agency for Vocational Education and AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC), the implementation of the "Scholarship Program" project for students studying in vocational and industrial fields in vocational education institutions is underway.
The Scholarship, launched to support the training of qualified personnel in the mining sector, will be granted on the basis of a competition between students studying at Ganja State Vocational Education Center for Industry and Technology. Those studying and specialized in "Electrician for maintenance and repair of electrical equipment", "Fitter for mechanical mounting", "Locksmith-plumber", "Lathe and milling operator", “Chemical laboratory assistant”, “Electric gas welder”, “Mining specialist” in the above-mentioned vocational school for 2022-2023 academic years may take part in the competition.
10 candidates with the highest scores upon the jury evaluation will be declared the winners.
Students who successfully pass the competition will receive a certificate and a scholarship of AZN 200 for 9 months. Thus, students will also have the opportunity to undergo internships at AzerGold CJSC and build their careers in the mining industry in the future.
Remarkably, first Scholarship program was successfully implemented last year for those studying at vocational schools on the specialties of industry and mining. Moreover, 4 out of 17 winners have been employed by AzerGold CJSC
It should be noted that the legal basis for cooperation between the parties on May 19, 2020 in connection with the joint activities of the institutions in the field of study, research, exploration of precious and non-ferrous metal ore deposits, production, processing and sale of precious and precious metals. constitutes a signed Memorandum of Understanding.
