The 6th Meeting of the Azerbaijan-India Intergovernmental Commission Was Held

On October 25, 2023, the 6th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission for Trade, Economic, Scientific, and Technological Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of India was held at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

At the meeting, Azerbaijan was represented by the Co-chair of the Intergovernmental Commission, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, Mukhtar Babayev, while the Indian side was represented by the Minister of State for Industry and Commerce, Co-chair of the Intergovernmental Commission, Mrs. Anupriya Patel.

The meeting was also attended by the Chairman of the Board of AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company, Zakir Ibrahimov.

At the event, views were exchanged on the prospects for expanding business relations between Azerbaijan and India in various fields, including cooperation in the economy, industry, trade, environment, mining, agriculture, transportation, education, tourism, healthcare, culture, and other areas.

After the discussions, the Protocol of the 6th meeting of the Azerbaijan-India Intergovernmental Commission for Trade, Economic, Scientific, and Technological Cooperation was signed.
