Temiz Dashkasan Project finished successfully

The Temiz (Clean) Dashkasan Project was finished successfully by the organization of AzerGold Close Joint-Stock Company and support of Dashkasan Demir Filiz (Iron Ore) LLC – subsidiary of AzerGold – and Regional Development Public Union (RDPU).

The employees of AzerGold CJSC, Dashkasan Demir Filiz (Iron Ore) LLC and the volunteers of RDPU took part in the campaign under the slogan of “In Solidarity for a Green World!”.

Approximately three hectares of territories on the banks of the Zaylik River, running through Gushchu village of Dashkasan region, were cleared of plastic, polyethylene, metal, glass, paper, cardboard and other wastes by the participants of the campaign. The collected wastes were sorted and sent for recycling.

This project, carried out within the Corporate Social Responsibility policy of AzerGold CJSC, included cleaning campaigns on the banks of the Zaylik and Goshgarchay rivers, as well as in various villages in the summer and autumn of 2024. In total, about 10 hectares of land were cleared of waste, bird nests were installed on trees, new waste containers and bins were provided in the territory of Dashkasan.

Note that, the main goal of the “Temiz Dashkasan” environmental project is to keep the environment clean, to prevent pollution by reducing household wastes, and to involve people in environmental protection. Such campaigns will be continued in different areas of the region for these purposes.
