Chairman of the Executive Board of AzerGold CJSC visited the training centre of Ganja volleyball club

Zakir Ibrahimov, Chairman of the Executive Board of AzerGold CJSC met with the team members of the Ganja volleyball club at the Ganja Sports Palace on December 21. Note that, AzerGold CJSC is the major sponsor of this volleyball club.

The training centre of the Ganja volleyball club is located at the Ganja Sports Palace, which was launched on April 9, 2024 with the participation of H.E. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Ganja Sports Palace has been built under the Decree of the President, and it reflects our state’s care and consideration for sports. The modern infrastructure of this grand sports palace is of great importance in enhancing the reputation of Azerbaijan as a country of sports, as well as in discovering the potential of young people living in the regions.

Elvar Osmanov, President of the Ganja volleyball club, giving speech at the meeting, spoke about the team’s training process and highlighted the team members’ high physical and mental well-being.  

Later on, Z.Ibrahimov met with the young athletes and coaches of the Volleyball Academy of the Ganja volleyball club and watched their training process. The club’s future plans, needs, and necessary measures for improving the team were discussed.

The year of 2024 was successful for the team and I believe that it will be as successful in the next year. I wish you every success and congratulate you all on the upcoming New Year and World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day on December 31, said Z.Ibrahimov and took photos with the team at the end.
