AzerGold holds another free mobile examination in Dashkasan

AzerGold Closed Joint Stock Company (CJSC) and Baku Health Center jointly held another mobile medical examination action in Dashkasan district.  During the action held on the occasion of 100th birth anniversary of National leader Haydar Aliyev, the residents from Gushchu, as well as Chovdar, Chaykand villages and Shadakh residential area with the motto “First Health” benefited from free medical examinations for three days. Within the framework of the campaign, 340 residents were involved in USM, EXO, ECG, blood and urine tests, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and glucose screening tests by a general surgeon, ENT specialist, therapist, endocrinologist, cardiologist, neuropathologist, pediatrician. Totally 1436 health care services were provided to the residents. 

With the view to enable timely and accurate diagnosis of the diseases and encourage the fight against coronavirus, participants were enlightened within the framework of the examination process. The examinations were carried out by professional doctors within 3 days at mobile hospitals and mobile intensive care vehicles, and about 400 people were involved in medical checkup. This social action aims to provide care to households living in the area where the Company operates, to promote a culture of preventive healthcare and a healthy lifestyle among the local population.

Notably, free mobile medical examination campaign regularly held by the Company is aimed at increasing access to quality health care services for the residents of remote villages, early diagnosis of diseases and promoting the culture of preventive examination. During the actions carried out since 2021, a total of about 1,700 residents of Dashkasan benefited from various free medical services. The residents who were diagnosed with various diseases were assigned appropriate treatment courses.

Remarkably, the residents from the villages located near Chovdar Integrated Regional Processing Area benefit from the projects implemented towards the environmental protection, education, health, employment, entrepreneurship promotion by "AzerGold" CJSC. Thus, through such projects the Company aims to care for the people living in the region, especially the families belonging to the socially vulnerable population group, and to make a contribution to the state policy implemented in this direction.
